This Criminal Petition is filed under Sections 480 and

483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (BNSS) praying this Court to enlarge the petitioner – A1 on bail in connection with Crime No.197 of 2026 of Allapur Police Station, Cyberabad Commissionerate. The offences alleged against the petitioner are punishable under Sections 8 (c) read with 20 (b) (ii) (c), 27 (b), 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (for short, ‘NDPS Act’).

Heard Sri Ravuri Sai Sumanth, learned counsel for petitioner – A1 and Sri D. Arun Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing for respondent – State.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that entire investigation is completed and filing of charge sheet is left over. A2, A7, A9, A10 and A11 are enlarged on bail vide order dated 01.09.2026, 31.08.2026 and 09.09.2026 and prayed to enlarge the petitioner – A1 on bail.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the role played by the petitioner – A1 is depicted in the remand case diary.

Sri Mohammed Majid Ali, Sub-Inspector of Police, has lodged a report before the concerned PS, basing on which FIR came to be registered.

Petitioner – A1 is arrested on 26.04.2026 and is produced before the concerned Magistrate, since then he is in judicial custody.

Remand case diary goes to show that prosecution has examined 14 witnesses.

It is to be noted here that A2 – Shaik Irfan @ Irfan is enlarged on bail by this Court on 01.09.2026 vide Crl.P.No.13868 of 2026. A7, A9 and A10 are enlarged on bail on 31.08.2026 vide Crl.P.Nos.12863, 13149 and 13153 of 2026. A11- Routu Yashwanth @ Cherry is enlarged on bail on 09.09.2026 vide Crl.P.No.14262 of 2026.

Since material part of the investigation is completed, detaining the petitioner – A1 further in judicial custody will not serve the purpose. Accordingly, this Court is of the view that the petitioner – A1 is entitled for grant of bail, subject to the following conditions:

i. The petitioner – A1 shall execute a personal bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/(Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only), with two sureties for a like sum each to the satisfaction of learned I Additional District & Sessions Judge, Sangareddy.

ii. The petitioner –A1 shall appear before the concerned SHO between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., on every Sunday for a period of eight (8) weeks or till filing of charge sheet whichever is earlier, for the purpose of investigation and thereafter, as and when required.

iii. The petitioner – A.1 shall abide by the conditions stipulated in Section 437(3) of Cr.P.C. (presently, Section 480(3) of the BNSS).

iv. The petitioner - A.1 shall not directly or indirectly influence, threaten, or induce any of the prosecution witnesses.

¶33

v. In the event of violation of any of the above conditions, the prosecution is at liberty to file an application for cancellation of bail.

Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is allowed.

Miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand

closed.
