Learned counsel for the^{petitioner submits that the} present writ petition has been filed challenging^{the action of} respond.ent No. 3 in freezingthe^{petitioner's bank account in} connection with the investigation^{in Crime No. 1O95 of 2OL7.} The petitioner accordingly seeks^{the indulgence of this Court} to set aside the said action and to^{declare it unlawful.}

Learned Assistant Government Pleader submits, ln response, that upon completion of the investigation, a final report dated O6.08.2018 has been filed before the Court of the XXV Metropolitan Magistrate, Kukatpally, wherein the matter has been categorized as being ciuil in nature. lt is therefore contended that no further controversy survives for adjudical:ion, as the petitioner's grievance regarding continualion of criminal proceedings stands effectively addresse,l.

I have perused the material available on record.

Having regard to the submissions advanced by both sides, and in view of the fact that the crime itself has been closed bl, filing of a final report, the freezing of the bank account, being a measure taken during the pendency of the investigalion, stands as a consequential action. In these circums&rnces, no further issue remain for determination in this writ petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed AS infructuo'us. There shall be no order as to costs.
