Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of lndia praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue any writ order or direction, more particularly, one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondent Nos.l and 2 in granting meager financial help of Rs.60,0001 in the Scheme of Chief Minister's Relief Fund (CMRF) pursuant to File No.521O9|CMRF12024, dated 2110912024, tor the total medical expenses of Rs.5,94,246l- incurred by the petitioner who has been suffering from neurology problems which do not come under the Government Scheme Aarogya Sree as illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional and in violation of principles of natural justice, and consequently direct the respondent Nos.1 and 2 to reconsider Petitioner request and take steps to grant the remaining balance amount of Rs.5,34,246l- spent by the petitioner towards medical expenses under CMRF Scheme.

examination, the hospital mana gement demanded Rs. 2,00, 000 / - as admission charges. When the petitioner's family requested treatment under the Aarorya Sree scheme, the hospital refused and suggested him to apply for a refund of the total medical expenses under the Chief Minister's Relief Fund(CMRF) aJter his treatment and discharge. As the petitioner's condition became serious, and without any other option, he r.r,.as admitted to Yashoda Hospital for treatment, promising to pa]. the admission charges and entire medical expenses. To cover these costs, his family borrowed Rs. 7,85,0OO/- at an interest rate of Rs. 2/ per month and he underwent treatm6nt from 06.04.2023 to 13.O4.2023.
Further case of the petitioner is that the State of Telangana implements the Chief Minister's Relief Fund to help the poorest of the poor in distress due to health issues. As the petitioner is a daily wage laborer, he spent nearly Rs.6,OO,00O/- towards surgery fees, medicines, and other related expenses, with a total bill of Rs.5,94,2461-. He applied for a refund of these medical expenses under the CMRF scheme in August 2023. After several visits to respondent Nos. 1 and 2, his request was considered, and he was gralted Rs.60,000/- out of the Rs.6,00,OOO/- spent.
