Heard Mr. Praveen Bonkuri, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. L.Ravinder, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue.

According to the petitioner, his father late Chakali Narsimha, was the absolute owner and possessor of land admeasuring Ac.0.17 guntas ln Sy.No.258, situated at Taramathipet Village, Abdullapurmet Mandal, Ranga Reddy District. He died on 06.06.2014. In proof of the same, petitioner has filed a copy of old title deed of his father. His mother is also no more. It is the further contention of the petitioner herein that petitioner being the only legal heir of his family, succeeded the said property. He has submitted a representation dated 18.04.2024 to respondent No.4 with a request to issue succession and mutation proceedings in respect of the said property. Despite receiving and acknowledging the said representation, respondent No.4 did not act upon the same. Aggrieved by the said inaction of respondent No.4, petitioner filed the present writ petition.

lthough the petitioner is contending that he is the only legal heir, ht: has not stated so in the writ affidavit and he has also not mentioned the date of death of his father in the writ affidavit. Howevor, he has submitted representation seeking succession and mutation proceedings in respect of the aforesaid property and it is for respondent No.4, to consider and dispose of the same strictly in accordance with law.
