No.72 of 2025 as illegal, arbitrary, improper, without any authority under law and in violation of Article 19(1)(g) of Constitution of lndia and consequently direct the Respondents to release the vehicle of the Petitioner forthwith

The Writ Petition is filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondent.No.4 in seizing the petitioner's vehicle i.e., Lorry bearing No.CG-04-PX-0717 on the ground of carrying PDS rice in connection with Crime No.72 of 2025 on the file of Kothagudem I Town Police Station, Bhadradri Kothagudem District, as illegal and arbitrary.

Heard leamed counsel for the petitioner, Iearned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies appearing lor respondents No.l to 3 and leamed Governrnent Pleader fbr Home appearing for respondent No.4 and perused the entire material on record.

Learned counsel for thc pelitioner submitted that in similar circumstances, this Court disposed ol- W.p.No.65 7 of 2024 on 09.01.2024 and directed the respondents therein to release the vehicle with some conditions and requested to pass similar order.
