The learned Government pleader for prohibition and Excise appearing on behalf of respondent No.3 has aiready filed counter.

The grievalce as projected in the letter petition dated 13.04.2023 was that because of consuming adulterated toddy, certain persons fell sick and three persons namely Mr.Ashanna, Mr.Vishnu prakash and Ms.Renuka died. This Court, upon taking cognrzance of the said letter, registered it as public Interest Litigation and directed the Government to file response.

Learned Government pleacler for prohibition ald trxcise, by taking this Cor.rrt to the Forensic Science Laboratories reports/ opinions which are filed along with the counter, urged that the said reports, in relation to the aforesaid three persons, make it clear that no poisonous substance was found in them.
