Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of lndia^praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue a writ, order or direction, particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not considering the application submitted by the petitioner through Principal District and Sessions Judge, Nalgonda dated 18.O1.2012 for appointment of Notary on^par with similarly situated persons who were appointed as notary subsequent to the date^of application of the petitioner, as illegal, arbitrary and consequently direct the respondents to appoint the petitioner as Notary on^par with the candidates who were appointed as Notary subsequent to the date of application of the^petitioner.

This writ petition^{has been flled to declarethe action of the} respondents in not declaring^{the action of respondentsin not} considering the application'6ubmitted^{by the petitioner through} Principal District and^{Sessions Judge, Nalgonda dated} 18.01.2012 for appointment^{of Notary on par with similarly} situated persons who^{were appointed as notary subseQuentto} the date of application^{of the petitioneras illega1 and arbitrary} and consequently direct^{the respondents toappointthe} petitioner as Notary on^{par with the candidates who were} appointed as Notary.

Heard. learned counsel^{for the petitionerand learned} Assistant Government^{Pleaderfor Revenue appearingon behalf} of respondents.

l,earned counsel^{for the petitioner submits that} petitioner has made an application^{dated la'Ol'2012 to the} Principal District and^{SessionJudge,Nalgonda requesting him} to forward the same^{to the competent authorityi'e', the Principal} Secretary, Stamps^{and Registration Department,Hyderabad who}

is respondent No.1 herein. In the said application, petitioner submitted that he is a practicing advocate at all Nalgonda District Courts ald was struggling to .survive in profession and in terms of amendment of Notary Rules, 2009, he prayed to forward his application to the competent authority for appointment of Notary. Subsequently, the Principal District Judge, Nalgonda has forwarded the application of the petitioner to the Principal Secretary, Revenue Department on 03.02.2012 for consideration.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the said letter was received by respondent No.2, till date no orders were passed.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue appearing on beha,lf of respondents submits that if the said application is still pending for consideration, the respondent authorities may be directed to dispose of the said letter, dated 03.O2.2O12 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.

In view of the submission made by the learned counsel on either side and without going into the merits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent authorities
