In the light of the^judgment in Gaddameedi Nogannan:i v.^{Stdte oJ} Telanganat a petition to^quash the^proceedings in^{Domestic ViolenceCase} is not maintainable, as Section 29 of the^{Protection of Women from Domestic} Violence Act, 2O05 affords an efficacious remedy^{by way of an appea-l against} the act of the Court below in taking^{cognizanceand numberingthe D.V.C.}

In view of the above, the petitioners are at^{libertyto avail the said} alternative remedy.
