This Writ Petition is filed seeking a writ of mandamus^declaring the action of the respondents in not processing the application for release of electricity connection to the petitioners' building premises bearing Plot Nos.939 & 94O, admeasuring 2OO Sq.Yds. each (out of 4OO Sq.Yds.) total admeasuring 4OO Sq.Yds. in Sy.No.78 situated at Gokul Plots, Venkataramana Colony, Hafeezpet Village, Serilingampally Mandal, Ranga Reddy District now Medchal-Malkajgiri District as illegal and arbitrary and consequently to direct the respondents to process the application for providing the electricity connections and to release the power supply without any further delay and to pass such other order or orders.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Government Pleader for Enerry appearing for respondent No.l and Sri R.vinod Reddy, learned standing counsel for TSSPDCL appearing for respondents No.2 and 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners had made an application to the respondents No.2 and 3 for providing electricity connection to the above mentioned premises and the respondents No.2 and 3 refused to receive the same. Being aggrieved by the said inaction of the respondents in receiving the

application and in providing electricity connection, the petitioners have approached this Court.

Learned standing counsel for TSSPDCL, on instructions, has stated that if the petitioners approaches the respondents and makes an application afresh, the respondent authorities would receive and consider the same in accordance with law.

Having regard to the above submission, the petitioners are directed to make a fresh application to the respondents, within a period of two (02) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and on receipt of such an application, the respondents are directed to consider the same in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably within a period of two (O2) weeks there from, and grant necessary electricity connection as sought for by the petitioners, on the petitioners making necessary payment as stipulated under the Electricity Act, 2OO3.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall also stand ,elqqed.
