This Writ Petition is filed seeking to declare the action of the respondent-Universit5r in not considering the case of the petitioner for appointment to the post of Assistant Professor (Telugu) by not declaring the results in pursuance of the selection conducted on 03.02.2014 as illegal and arbitrary, and consequently, sought direction to the respondent-Universit5r to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment to the post of Assistant Professor (Telugu).

This Court, on 31.08.2016, passed an interim order in W.P.M.P.No.47O23 of 2015 directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 28.LO.2015, for declaration of the results in pursuance of the Notification No.O1 of 2010, dated O8.12.2OI2, and Notil-rcation No.01 of 2072 (Teaching for PG Cenrer, Gadwal), and pass appropriate orders thereon within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of that order.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, Sri Anurag, learned Counsel, representing Ms. K. Udaya Sri, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, submitted that in pursuance of the interim order of this Court, dated 31.08.2016, the results were declared and subsequently, the petitioner was appointed as Assistant Professor (Telugu). Hence, the grievance of the petitioner is redressed.
