Petition under Article 226 of lhe Constitution of lndia praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue a writ in the nature of a writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ direction order or orders declaring the action of the corporation in directing the lnternal promotion committee to award 5 marks to the candidates who were given cash awards and merit certificates while adjudicating the individual performs as communicated in the off ice order No.165/2006, dt. 17 -6-20OG as arbitrary illegal and void and consequently direct the internal promotion committee, the 4th respondent herein to fill up the 2 posts of Divisional Manager with the plantation Manages and AEMs who have completed more than 25 years and reached maximum time scale and ignore the direction issued by the
corporation in office Order No.165/2006 to award 5 marks to cash award and merit ce(ificate holders while granting merit rating for the selection.
