This Writ Petition is filed seeking a writ,^{order or} direction more^particularly one in^{the nature of Writ of} Mandamus by declaring the action^{of the Respondents in not} processing the applications for release of^electricity connections to the petitioner's building^{premises bearingPltrt} No.l377 Part, admeasuring 133 sq^{yards in Sy.No.7S, Situated} at Hafeezpet Village, Serilingampally^{Mandal,Ranga Reddy} District, now Medchal-Malkajgiri District^{as illegal, arbitrary,} unjust and consequently direct^{the respondentsto process} applications for providing electricity^{connectionsand to} release service connections with meters^{withoutany furthcr} delay.

Heard learned counsel for the^{petitioncr; learned} Government Pleader for Energy appearing on^{behalf of} respondent No.l and Sri R. Vinod Reddy,^{learned Standing} Counsel for TSSPDCL appearing on behalf of^respondent Nos.2 to 4. With their consent, the writ^{petition is disposcd} of at the stage of admission itself.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioncr is the owner of the aforesaid property, having purchased thc same under Agreernent of Sale, dated 2l.l1.2O15. He further submitted that the peritioncr rnade application lbr domestic electricity connection to the said property and the same was acknowledged by the respondcnts on 16.08.2023. But, as on this dare, the respondcnts have not considered the said application and not released power supply to the petitioner, whichis contrary to Section 43 of the Electricity Act, 2003 and requested this Court to dircct the respondents to consider the petitioncr's application for release of electricity connection t,o thc petitioner's premisgs and pass appropriate orders therecn.

In view of the same, the writ petition is dispc,sed of directing thc respondents to consider the application filed by the pctitioner, which was acknowledged on 16.08.2023 lbr releasc ol'clectricity connection to the petitioner's premises or pass appropriate orders on the application submitted by the petitioner in accordance with law within a periocl of fbur weeks liom the date of reccipt of a copy of this order. There sl-rall be no ordcr as to costs.
