This Writ Petition is filed seeking a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not processing the individual application for release of individual electricit5r connections to property bearing Plot Nos.l162 and 1163, admeasuring 200 Sq.Yds of 167.2 Sq.mts. admeasuring 77.00 Sq.Yds (Out of 2OO Sq.Yds) or 64.38 Sq.mts total admeasuring 277 Sq.yds in Sy.No.7B situated at Hafeezpet Village, under GHMC Seriiingampally circle, Serilingampally Mandal, Ranga Reddy District now Medchal-Malkajgiri District as illegal and arbitrary and consequently to direct the respondents to process application for providing electricity connections and to release service connections with meters to petitioner's property without any further delay and to pass such other order or orders.

Heard Mr.Sathvik Makunur, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri R.Vinod Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents, and the Writ Petition is disposed of at admission stage with the consent of both the parties.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has entered into the Development Agreement cum-General Power of Attorney with the owner Mr.Boddupally Salaiah, S/o. B.Chennaiah with respect to Plot Nos. 1162 and 1163, admeasuring 200 Sq.Yds or

167.2 Sq.mts. admeasuring 77 .OO Sq.Yds (Out of 2O0 Sq.Yds) or 64.38 Sq.mts total admea s:urir.g 277 Sq.yds in Sy.No.78 situated at Hafeezpet Village, under GHMC Serilingampally circle, Serilingampally Mandal, Ranga Reddy District now Medchal-Malkajgiri District vide Development Agreement cum GPA dated 19.07 .2021 and the petitioner had applied for domestic electricity connection to the said house vide acknowledgment dated 06.01.2023 to the respondents. But as'on this date, the respondents have not considered arrd given any estimation for the purpose of sanction of service connection to the said house, which is contrary to the Section 43 of Electricity Act, 2O03 and requested to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's application and pass appropriate orders.

In view of the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to respondents to consider the application filed by the petitioner dated O6.01.2023 as per law, and provide power supply or pass appropriate orders on the applcation filed by the petitioner, within four (4) weeks from the date receipt of copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall also stand closed.
