We have perused the record.

In this writ petition, which has been^{filedas a Publiclnterest} Litigation, the grievance of the^{petitioners pertains to violationof} the provisions of the Telangana^{Animals and Birds Sacrifices} Prohibition Act, 1950 at Aramaisamma^{Temple,Bandlaguda,} Ranga Reddy District. As^{per the avermentsmade in the writ} petition, the petitioners have visited the aforesaid^{temple and have} found animals there being sacrificed^{in contraventionof the} provisions of the aforesaid Act.

tt has further been averred^{that v/ith regardto grievanceof} the petitioners, they have submitted^{a representation on 05.06.2009} to the District Collector,^{Hyderabad.However,the aforesaid} representation has failed to evoke^{any response. Thereupon, this}

writ petition has been filed.

The writ petition is pending before this Court since 2009 in which the parties are not appearing. The respondents have also not filed any counter-affidavit. Therefore, in the facts and circumstances of the case, no useful purpose would be served by keeping this writ petition pending.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of with a direction to the District Collector, Hyderabad to look into the grievance of the petitioners and to take suitable action in accordance with law on the aforesaid representation. There shall be no order as to costs.
