This Writ Petition is filed seeking to declare the action of the respondents in considering the ITI (Draughtsman Civil) for the post of Junior Plant Attendant from contract labourers alone, ignoring the unemployed candidates like petitioner and other eligible candidates, who do not have experience, as illegal and arbitrary.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, Sri Shaik Hameed, learned counsel, representing Sri M.R. Tagore, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, submits that due to efflux of time, the cause of action in the present writ petition does not survive for adjudication and the matter has become infructuous.

Recording the above said submission, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.

Miscellaneous applications, if any, pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed. No costs.
