Petition under Article 226 of the Constitutjon of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue a Writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of lt4andamus declaring the action of respondent in not granting promotion to the petitioners as officers in Junior managemenl Grade Scale-1 f rom 1st November, 2000 and the combined seniority list issued on 10.5.2007 as illegal, arbitrary and violative of Articles^'14 and 16 of Constitution of lndia and consequently direct the respondent to grant promotion to the petitioners as officers in the Junior It4anagement Grade Scale -1 w.e.f. 01 11.2000 with all consequential benefits and be pleased to set aside the combined seniority list dated 10.5.2007 to officers in Jt/GS-I.
