This Writ Petition is filed alleging inaction in considering the petition filed by the petitioners before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Anantapuram, for carrying out the corrections/cancelling the pattadar passbooks and title deeds issued in favour of Sri D. Adinarayana Reddy (since died) and his children. According to the petitioners, they are the owners of the subject land. Petitioners complain that illegally pattadar passbooks and title deeds were granted to Sri D. Adinarayana Reddy and his children. Earlier, petitioners complained to the Revenue Divisional Officer against grant of such pattadar passbooks and title deeds. At that stage, the Revenue Divisional Officer was not inclined to entertain the appeal on the ground that civil suit in O.S.No.270 of 2005 on the file of Additional Senior Civil Judge, Anantapur, was pending. Now, the said suit was dismissed for non-prosecution and no further steps were taken by the unofficial respondents for restoration of the same. Since suit is already dismissed, petitioners made further petition/appeal before the Revenue Divisional Officer to rectify the earlier mistakes and to cancel the pattadar passbooks and title deeds issued in favour of unofficial respondents. Alleging inaction on the said petition/appeal, this Writ Petition is filed.
