The Court made the following: ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed for a Mandamus to declare the action of the respondents in not considering the applications of the petitioners for grant of license for purchase, sale/storage for sale of Scheduled Commodities (F.G.L) and granting the said license to some traders in Vijayawada-1 town as per their whims and fancies, as illegal and arbitrary.
At the hearing, Mr. M.Brahma Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioners, submitted that in pursuance of interim order, dated 31.3.2009, passed by this Court, the respondents have issued food grains dealers’ licenses to the petitioners and therefore, the cause in this Writ Petition does not survive for adjudication.
The Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed as infructuous.
As a sequel to dismissal of the Writ Petition, interim order, dated 31.3.2009, in WPMP.No.8715 of 2009 is vacated and WPMP.No.8715 of 2009 is dismissed as infructuous.
