Heard learned counsel for the parties.
Learned counsel for the petitioner does not press this petition and seeks liberty to the petitioner to make an application seeking ‘No Objection Certificate’ (NOC) from the affiliating body, namely, Minorities Welfare Department, Government of Telangana and, further, he seeks direction to the affiliating body to consider the application within time frame.
Learned Government Pleader for respondent No.2 submits that if the petitioner makes an application, as aforementioned, the concerned authority shall consider and decide the same within four weeks from the date of receipt of the application.
In the circumstances, we are satisfied that the following order shall meet the ends of justice:
“Writ petition is disposed of as not pressed. It is open to the petitioner – institution to make an application seeking NOC from the affiliating body within a period of two weeks from today. The affiliating body shall consider and decide the petitioner’s application, as expeditiously as possible, and preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the application, on merits in accordance with law. While passing this order, we shall not be understood to have issued any direction as such to the affiliating body.”
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, also stand disposed of.
