WRIT PETITION No.7206 of 2009
ORDER:
This Writ Petition was filed challenging the action of the respondents in seizing and detaining the Tata Hitachi Proclainer Ex-110 belonging to the petitioner without following due process of law.
A counter affidavit is filed by the Assistant Director of Mines and Geology stating that pursuant to the submission of bond on 16.04.2009 for Rs.50,000/-, his Office issued a letter on 16.04.2009 requesting the Tahsildar to release the proclainer as per the interim orders of this Court in this Writ Petition.
In view of the above, no further orders are necessary in the present Writ Petition and the same is, accordingly, closed. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall also stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
