This writ petition is filed for a Certiorari to quash the proceedings bearing No.GPTY001/2014-15 dated 27.08.2014 issued by respondent No.4, whereby he has informed the petitioners that if they do not stop the activity of conversion of the land into layout without obtaining permission from H.M.D.A. as per the Hyderabad Metro Development Authority Act, 2008, he will himself get the pillars and stones removed, recover the costs thereof and initiate criminal prosecution against them.

At the hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners have got the agricultural land converted for non-agricultural purpose by paying a sum of Rs.20,88,450/- vide proceedings in File No.L/538/2014 dated 07.02.2014 of the Special Grade Deputy Collector and Revenue Divisional Officer, Saroornagar Division, and that they are awaiting sanction from H.M.D.A. He has further stated that they will not proceed with further work of conversion of land into house plots till they obtain sanction from H.M.D.A.

The above submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioners are placed on record and the writ petition is disposed of, giving liberty to respondent No.4 to proceed with further action in the event the petitioners are found proceeding with conversion of land into house plots without H.M.D.A. permission.

As a sequel to the disposal of the writ petition, W.P.M.P.Nos.38450 and 39758 of 2014 shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
