ORDER:
Heard Sri Y.V. Ravi Prasad, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
This Writ Petition was filed challenging the action of the respondents in not striking off the Rowdy Sheet No.22/98 pending on the file of the third respondent.
The learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner produced a copy of the proceedings dated 31.12.2006 issued by the Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Eluru, wherein it was stated that the rowdy sheet maintained against the petitioner was closed. In view of the same, no further orders need be passed in the Writ Petition.
The Writ Petition is therefore closed. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending consideration if any in the Writ Petition shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
