This Public Interest Litigation has been filed for issuing a direction upon respondent Nos. 2 to 7 for taking action against illegal digging of bore wells situated within the radius of 250 mtrs., from the public drinking water source of Chinnappareddipally Village, Kalavalapudi Panchayat, Venkatagiri Mandal, SPSR Nellore District
At the hearing, learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondent Nos. 1 to 4 produced a document to show that notice has been issued to the owners for closing the illegal bore wells.
In that view of the matter, we direct the respondentauthorities to see that this action reaches to its logical conclusion. This action must be completed in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.
The Public Interest Litigation is accordingly disposed of.
Consequently, the Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall also stand closed. No costs.
