O R D E R :
This Criminal Petition is filed to quash FIR in Crime No. 235 of 2011 on
the file of Women Police Station, Saroornagar, Cyberabad for the alleged offences under section 498-A, 323, 420, 406 and 506 IPC and section 3 and 5 of Dowry Prohibition Act.
2. Heard both sides.
3. It is submitted by learned Public Prosecutor that Police filed final report referring the case as “action dropped” on 29/12/2012. Learned Public Prosecutor has produced copy of final report filed by Inspector of Police, Women Police Station, Saroornagar.
4. As seen from the final report, when the investigation was in progress on 13/10/2012 the complainant approached Investigating Officer and filed a petition stating that she filed OP.No. 11 of 2012 on the file of Family Court, City Civil Court, Secunderabad and in that O.P. there was a compromise and the marriage was dissolved and as per memorandum of understanding she agreed to withdraw the complaint and in view of that final report is filed referring the case as “action dropped”.
5. Since the Police have filed final report referring the case as “action dropped”, this criminal petition is dismissed as infructuous.
