JUDGMENT:
When the matter was taken up for hearing on 08.08.2014, there was no representation on behalf of the appellant. Hence, the matter was directed to be listed on 14.08.2014 under the caption “for dismissal”. As there was no representation even on 14.08.2014, it was adjourned to this day to give an opportunity to the appellant. Even today, there is no representation on behalf of the appellant. It appears that the appellant is not interested in prosecuting the case.
Accordingly, the Criminal Appeal is dismissed for nonprosecution. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the appeal shall stand dismissed.
