COMPANY APPLICATION No.1238 of 2014 IN R.C.C.No.2 OF 1995
ORDER:
This application is filed by the Official Liquidator to permit him to pay ex-gratia of Rs.3,454/- to each of the 40 Company paid employees on the rolls of his office for the financial year 20132014 aggregating to Rs.1,38,160/- on par with the relief granted to Government staff . This expenditure is proposed to be met from out of the Estate and Establishment Fund Account maintained by the office of the Official Liquidator. The details of the 40 employees on the rolls of the office of the Official Liquidator are placed on record.
Earlier this Court, by order dated 27.09.2011 passed in CA.No.1546 of 2011 in RCC.No.2 of 1995, permitted the payment of ex-gratia of Rs.3,454/- to the company paid employees on the rolls of the office of the Official Liquidator for the financial year 2010-2011. Thereafter, this Court by order dated 18.12.2012 permitted the payment of ex-gratia of Rs.3,454/- for the financial year 2011-2012 in CA.No.1105 of 2012 in RCC.No.2 of 1995. In CA.No.1086 of 2013 in CP.No.1086 of 2013 also this Court vide order dated 09.10.2013 granted the same relief.
In view of the above and for reasons alike, the Official Liquidator is permitted to pay the ex-gratia of Rs.3,454/- to each of the 40 company paid employees on the rolls of his office for the financial year 2013-2014. The expenditure aggregating to Rs.1,38,160/- shall be borne out of the Estate and Establishment Fund Account maintained by the Official Liquidator.
Accordingly, the Company Application is ordered.
No costs.
