ORDER:
This contempt case is filed alleging that the respondents did not comply with the order dated 21-01-2013 passed by this Court in Writ Petition No. 8641 of 2012.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents.
The only direction issued by this Court through the order in the writ petition was that the 1st respondent shall consider the proposal submitted by the 2nd respondent on the application submitted by the petitioner, afresh, by treating that a case is made out for extending the benefit under Section 5(2)(a) of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957.
It is brought to the notice of this Court that during the pendency of the contempt case, the 1st respondent passed an order dated 31-01-2014 and that aggrieved by that, the petitioner herein filed Writ Petition No. 12627 of 2014.
Hence, the contempt case is closed. The miscellaneous petitions filed in this contempt case shall also stand disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
