ORDER:
This contempt case has been filed alleging violation of order dated 09.05.2013 in W.P.No.14220 of 2013, whereunder this Court directed by way of interim measure to consider and dispose of the representations dated 09.04.2013 and 29.04.2013, filed by the petitioner.
Learned Government Pleader would submit that after receipt of notice in contempt petition, Proceedings in Rc.No.Admn.I/7376/2013, dated 03.07.2014, were passed and thus had complied with the directions given in the interim order.
The learned counsel for the contempt petitioner submits that the rejection order passed by the respondents is clearly a discriminatory order, inasmuch as the 2nd respondent had transferred and undertaken transfers of others, and further he would submit that there is an inordinate delay in complying with the interim orders of this Court. He submits that this Court may direct the respondents to consider the case of the writ petitioner.
I am afraid, the contempt jurisdiction does not permit me of passing the orders on merits on the proceeding dated 03.07.2014, particularly, considering the scope of interim order granted by this Court on 09.05.2013.
Accordingly, without expressing any opinion, the Contempt Case is closed, leaving it open for the contempt petitioner to workout his remedies with respect to the proceedings dated 03.07.2014, in accordance with the law. No order as to costs.
