Sri K.Rama Krishna, learned counsel representing Sri P.Raghavender Reddy, learned standing counsel for Gram Panchayats, appearing for respondent No.2, has fairly conceded that in view of the order dated 01.08.2001 in W.P.No.20259 of 2000, which was confirmed in W.A.No.1446 of 2001 as the writ appeal was dismissed for default by order dated 05.02.2009, the petitioners are entitled to the allotment of house numbers. He has further stated that as respondent No.2 has sought for information from the Tahsildar and other Revenue Officials, he could not complete the process of allotment of house numbers and that he will allot the house numbers within a reasonable time.

The above submission of the learned counsel is placed on record and the Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of with the direction to respondent No.2 to complete the process of allotment of house numbers to the petitioners’ houses within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

As a sequel to the disposal of the writ petition, W.P.M.P.No.11972 of 2013 filed by the petitioner for interim relief shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
