ORDER :
Petitioners own different extents of house plots in Sy.No. 157/9 (new Sy.No.157/10) of Thokatta Village, Secunderabad Cantonment. Petitioners have entered into a development agreement-cum-general power of attorney, dated 28.03.2009 for development of the property. Pursuant to the said development agreement, on 04.05.2010 an application was submitted for according permission for construction of a commercial building. Petitioners aver that the said application is kept pending with the respondent authorities and is not disposed of till date, causing undue cause and suffering.
2. On instructions, standing counsel for respondent board submits that an appropriate action will be taken on the application submitted by the petitioners on 04.05.2010 within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
3. Recording the said submission, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent board to take decision on the application submitted on behalf of the petitioners on 04.05.2010 for grant of permission for construction of commercial property in the property owned by the petitioners as expeditiously as possible, at any rate within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
4. Miscellaneous petition, if any, pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed. No costs.
