This Writ Petition is filed for the following substantive relief:

“… to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the auction notification dated 16-9-2012 issued by the 2^nd respondent, thereby notifying proposed sale of turmeric stocks of the petitioners on 24-9-2012 as illegal, irregular, irrational, without jurisdiction and violative of Articles 14, 21 and 300-A of Constitution of India and consequently direct the 2^nd respondent not to conduct sale of turmeric stocks of petitioners …”

At the hearing, the learned Counsel for the parties fairly submitted that since 1/4^th of the due amounts has already been paid by the petitioners, time may be granted upto 31-3-2013 for payment of the balance amount by the petitioners.

In view of this fair agreement reached among the learned Counsel for the parties, the Writ Petition is disposed of by permitting the petitioners to pay the balance loan amounts due along with interest on or before 31-3-2013, failing which the respondents shall be free to recover the loan amounts by sale of the hypothecated goods.

As a sequel to the disposal of the Writ Petition, WPMP No.37906/2012 and WVMP No.4161/2012 are disposed of as infructuous.
