The Court made the following:
ORDER:
This writ petition is filed for the following substantive relief:
“…to issue any Writ, order or direction, more particularly, one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the highhanded attempt of dispossession and demolition by the respondent and its officials of petitioners house properties shown in the annexure to the affidavit with necessary details on 26.08.2013 at about 11 am and demolishing our houses partly with the help of bulldozer without issuing any notice and again making similar attempt on 29.08.2013 at 3.30 pm for demolition of the remaining portions of their houses as illegal, arbitrary, capricious and violative of Articles 14, 21 and 300A of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondent not to demolish their houses and dispossess them except under due process of law.”
At the hearing, there is no representation for the petitioners. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed for nonprosecution.
As a sequel to dismissal of the writ petition, W.P.M.P.No.31724 of 2013 shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
