THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE R. KANTHA RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.15299 of 2013 ORDER:
This criminal petition is filed by the petitioner-A1 under Section 438 of the Criminal Procedure Code seeking anticipatory bail in Crime No.31 of 2013 of Women Police Station, Adilabad District, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 498A of IPC and 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner – A1 and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the respondent-state.
3. In view of the specific allegations leveled against the petitioner attracting the offences under Section 498-A of IPC and 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Therefore, the Criminal Petition is dismissed.
