The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that this writ petition has been filed mainly claiming past service for the purpose of regularization. It is also submitted that consequent to the order passed by this Court under the Regulations,

the petitioner has been reinstated into service but without continuity of service. The relief sought for in this writ petition is squarely covered by the order dated 08.08.2011 passed in W.P. No.22283 of 2011. Therefore, the similar relief may be granted.

On the other hand, the learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents Corporation does not dispute the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

From a perusal of the order dated 08.08.2011 passed in W.P. No.22283 of 2011, this Court disposed of the said writ petition with a direction that “the respondents shall extend the benefit of counting of past service for the purpose of regularization and not for any other monetary benefit”.

In that view of the matter, following the order dated 08.08.2011 passed in W.P. No.22283 of 2011, this writ petition is also disposed of directing that the respondents shall extend the benefit of counting of past service for the purpose of regularization of service and not for any other monetary benefit.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There

shall be no order as to costs.
