THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE L.NARASIMHA REDDY WRIT PETITION No. 22307 of 2012 ORDER:

The petitioner claims to have made a representation dated 02.04.2012 to the Tahsildar, Bathalapalli Mandal, 2^nd respondent herein with a request to issue pattadar pass book and title deed in respect of Ac.2.50 cents of land in Survey No.202-1 of Bathalapalli Village and Mandal. His grievance is that no action has been taken thereon.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

The A.P. Record of Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act and the Rules made thereunder prescribe the procedure to be followed for issuance of pattadar pass books and title deeds. An application in the prescribed form duly furnishing the particulars of the land needs to be submitted. It is only when a valid application is made that the 2^nd respondent can be expected to take necessary steps.

The so-called application said to have been made by the petitioner is not only not in the prescribed form, but also is bereft of any details. Except that something was scribbled that too with so many corrections, the petitioner did not make an effort to submit a proper application.

Therefore, the writ petition is disposed of leaving it open to the petitioner to submit the application in the

prescribed form, with necessary enclosures. As and when such application is made, the 2^nd respondent shall take necessary steps in accordance with law. The miscellaneous petition filed in this writ petition also stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
