This Writ Petition can be disposed of in terms of the suggestions that have fallen at the Bench.

The writ petitioner has claimed to have rendered ten years of continuous service as a driver of a motor vehicle to the respondent bank. However, through the impugned order, it is stated that his services are not required and henceforth, they were dispensed with.

Sri G. Vidya Sagar, learned counsel for the petitioner has placed before me circular instructions bearing No. 666/3/R/PD/SS/3335, dated 14.03.2012 issued by the General Manager (HR), Human Resource Department, Head Office, Hyderabad proposing to consider absorption of personal drivers of Executives as permanent sub-staff in the service of the bank, subject to fulfilling the following five conditions:

1) The candidate should have been engaged to drive a Bank vehicle prior to 01.01.2001.

2) The candidate should have completed 10 years of service as on 31.12.2010.

3) The candidate should be presently engaged as Driver to an Executive and should have been engaged as Driver as on 31.12.2010.

4) The candidate should have been born on or after 01.01.1961 for which they should produce valid certificate of proof of date of birth.

5) The candidate should be medically fit.

It is stated that the petitioner does satisfied all these criteria. It is therefore, only appropriate that the respondent bank will entertain and consider the application of the petitioner also and deal with his case in accordance with the circular instructions, dated 14.03.2012 and pass appropriate orders. is taken on record.

With this, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the miscellaneous applications, if any shall
