ORDER
This criminal petition has been taken out under Section 482 Cr.P.C. by A.Chandra Reddy-A6 to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.12 of 2008 on the file of the Special Judge under Prevention of Corruption Act for Speedy Trial Cases of Embezzlement of Scholarship Amount in Social Welfare Department, Nampally, Hyderabad.
It is represented by the learned Special Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent-State that charges have not been framed against the petitioner as on this day. He would also contend that in similar circumstances criminal petition filed by the other accused came to be disposed of reserving liberty to the accused to file an application for discharge. Copy of the order passed in Crl.P.No.1481 of 2009 has been placed on record.
In that view of the matter, this criminal petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file an application for discharge and the lower Court shall consider the same in accordance with law.
