CRIMINAL PETITION No.6956 of 2009
ORDER:
1 This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C by the petitioner as party in person seeking to quash the proceedings in Cr.No.79 of 2009 on the file of Bellamapalli P.S., Adilabad District, which was registered for the offences punishable under Sections 290 and 353 of IPC against the petitioner.
2 Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. On the other hand, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondentState submitted that in the aforesaid crime, after completing investigation, the police filed charge sheet and now the case is pending in C.C.No.70 of 2009 on the file of the Railway Court, Secunderabad.
3 Inasmuch as charge sheet is already filed in the said case, no relief can be granted in this Criminal Petition, which is filed seeking to quash the proceedings.
4 The Criminal Petition is accordingly dismissed.
