CRIMINAL PETITION No.6204 of 2012
ORDER:
The petitioner is accused of offence punishable under
Section 420 IPC. It is alleged that the petitioner obtained Rs.2.00 lakhs out of Rs.4.00 lakhs as advance for providing VRO post on making representation that he knew many persons in Guntur as well as in Hyderabad. On the same day, the petitioner executed a stamped agreement/surety bond for the said amount. It is alleged that when the de facto complainant did not get the post of VRO, he demanded the accused for return of his amount, for which he stated that the amount was paid to higher officials and it cannot be returned. It is contended that the transaction between the parties is only a money transaction. The allegations in FIR are
otherwise. Having regard to the said allegations, this is not a fit case for granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
In the result, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. The petitioner is directed to surrender before the Magistrate and seek regular bail thereafter.
