JUDGMENT
This appeal is filed against the order dated 24-102003 passed in STC No.12 of 1999 by the Additional Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Kovvur, Nellore District, whereby and whereunder the learned Judge acquitted the accused for the offence punishable under Section 7 (1) of A.P. (Agricultural produce and live stock) Markets Act,1966.
The accused was prosecuted for doing business without obtaining licence during the year 1996-97. The complaint was said to have been filed on 25.2.1999 i.e., more than one year after the licence period and default is said to have been committed. Therefore, there are no grounds to interfere with the order of acquittal recorded by the trial Court.
Accordingly, the criminal appeal is dismissed.
