2. This appeal is filed by the insurance company against the order dated 23.12.2002 passed by the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunalcum- Additional District Judge at Adilabad in O.P.No.673 of 1998, challenging the quantum of compensation on the ground that it is on higher side.

At the hearing of the appeal, learned counsel appearing for the insurance company submitted a copy of the judgment of the learned single Judge of this Court in C.M.A.Nos.2280 of and 2277 of 2003 wherein the learned single Judge in respect of the same accident and in the similar circumstances confirmed the order passed by the Tribunal and only reduced the interest from 9% per annum to 7% per annum from the date of petition till the date of realistion.

4. Both the counsel agreed to confirm the order subject to reduction of interest as was done by the learned single Judge of this Court.

5. In the result, the appeal filed by the insurance company is partly allowed confirming the order as to quantum of compensation passed by the learned Tribunal and reducing the interest as indicated above. There shall be no order as to costs.
