The Adarsha Nagar Nivasula Sankshema Seva Sangham Vs The Chief Commissioner of Land Administration

The case of the petitioner is that the respondents 4 to 6 and their family members have filed revision vide case No. P1/1243/2002 before the first respondent under the provisions of Andhra Pradesh (Andhra Area) Estate (Abolition & Conversion into Ryotwari) Act 1949, against the orders passed by the Director of Settlement, Hyderabad, dated 4.7.2002. The short grievance of the petitioner is that the said revision is still pending before the first respondent since 2002 and due to the pendency of the said revision, the State Government is not regularizing the residential houses of the members of the petitioner-Society.

Writ Petition is disposed of directing the first respondent to consider and dispose of the revision filed by the respondents 4 to 6 against the order of the Director of Settlement, Hyderabad, dated 4.7.2002, in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
