Heard both the counsel.
2. The petitioner was working as Conductor in the respondent – Corporation. Aggrieved by the inaction of the respondents in giving promotion to him to the post of Assistant Depot Clerk/Controller, the present writ petition has been filed.
3. This court while admitting the writ petition on 8.10.2007 passed the interim orders in WPMP.No.27722/2007 directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for promotion to the post of Assistant Depot Clerk/Controller.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that pursuant to the interim orders of this court, the petitioner was given promotion and hence no further orders are required in the writ petition.
5. As the writ petitioner was given promotion in terms of the interim order, no further order needs to be passed and the writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
