O R D E R:
This Writ Petition has been instituted by two sons of one Sri Ch. Venkateswara Rao of Narsampet Village and Mandal, Warangal District, seeking directions to the respondents to conduct survey and fix the boundaries of land of an extent of Ac.2.31 guntas belonging to them in Survey No. 318/1 of the said village. Father of the writ petitioners appears to be owning Ac.6.23 guntas of land initially. He has gifted Ac.3.00 of land to the Government with a fond hope that the school building will be constructed there. However, the Government got constructed the office of the Deputy Superintendent of Police in the said land. Another extent of Ac.0.03 guntas of land has been utilized for formation of a road. Thus, land of an extent of Ac.3.20 guntas remain as privately owned and held by the petitioners’ father. Out of this land, Ac.2.31 guntas is sought to be demarcated.
It is only appropriate that the survey operation should have been conducted and completed as requested by the writ petitioners, so that they will be able to put to effective use the land owned and possessed by them, without giving any scope for suspicion that they have trespassed into the land which is already either gifted or otherwise left out.
I, therefore, direct the 2nd respondent Tahasildar to order for the survey of land situate in Survey No. 318/1 of Narsampet Village and Mandal, Warangal District and get it demarcated specifically as expeditiously as possible, preferably before the end of July 2011. With this, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
