CONTEMPT CASE No.1344 of 2011
ORDER:
This contempt case is filed complaining willful disobedience on the part of the respondent in complying with the order of this Court dated 24.09.2010 passed in W.P. No. 21362 of 2010, whereunder this Court directed the respondent to pass appropriate orders on the application dated 29.12.2004 submitted by the petitioner seeking enhancement of the compensation within a period of four weeks from that day.
Today, at the hearing, it is submitted by the Government Pleader for Land Acquisition appearing for the respondent that it is the petitioner who is not appearing before the respondent and pursuing the matter and as such there is no disobedience on the part of the respondent, in complying with the orders of this Court.
In view of the above submissions, no contempt of the orders of this Court can be alleged against the respondent.
The contempt case is accordingly dismissed.
