The Court made the following
ORDER:
This writ petition is filed for the following substantive relief.
“It is prayed that the Hon’ble Court may be pleased to issue writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ declaring the inaction of the respondents in withholding freedom fighters pensions of the petitioner as illegal, arbitrary and unjust and against the principles of natural justice and direct the respondents to restore the pension along with arrears of pension from the date of stoppage along with interest.”
After arguing the case for sometime, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission of the Court to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to the petitioners to make appropriate representations to the respondents.
In view of the same, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty in terms of the prayer made.
As a sequel to dismissal of main petition as withdrawn, WPMP No.7915 of 2010 filed by the petitioners for interim relief is disposed of as infructuous.
