O R D E R :
This writ petition is filed aggrieved by the order dated 23.03.1999 passed by the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation rejecting the request of the petitioner for transfer to Guntur Region from Giddalur Depot.
When the matter is taken up for consideration it is represented by the learned Standing Counsel for the Corporation that during the pendency of this writ petition the petitioner has retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation.
Having regard to the nature of the dispute raised in the writ petition and keeping in view that the petitioner has already retired from service, the matter does not deserve adjudication on merits. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
