Heard the learned Counsel appearing for both the parties and at their request the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal.

The petitioner herein, who belongs to one of the nationally recognized parties, filed this Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a mandamus to consider the representations dated 02.01.2009, 03.02.2009, 16.03.2009, 31.08.2009, 07.09.2009, 01.01.2010 and 07.04.2010 filed by him before respondent Nos.1 to 3. His grievance is that despite the aforesaid representations, no action has been taken nor any orders have been passed thereon.

Having heard the counsel for both the parties and having perused the material available on record, there is no dispute that the petitioner has filed several representations and they have to be necessarily disposed of in accordance with law. Since no action has been taken by the respondents, it would suffice if the respondents are directed to dispose of the representations of the petitioner dated 02.01.2009, 03.02.2009, 16.03.2009, 31.08.2009, 07.09.2009, 01.01.2010 and 07.04.2010 within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
