ORDER:
Learned counsel appearing for the respondents submits that gratuity has been paid to the petitioner giving due consideration to the service rendered by him including his past service prior to his date of termination.
Learned counsel also placed on record the receipt dated 15.3.2010 issued by the petitioner acknowledging the receipt of
Rs.47,580/- by way of Cheque No.474347, dated 15.3.2010.
Such is the situation, the Contempt Case does not survive and accordingly, the same is hereby dismissed as redundant.
