Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the Affidavit filed herein the High Court may be pleased to declare the action of the 1st respondent in reducing the approved intake of the petitioner College from 30 to 20 seats in MCA course vide the impugned proceeding No.AP-071/ET-APR(MCA)/99, dt.24.6.2002 as arbitrary, illegal by way of issuance of a writ, order or direction, one more particularly in the nature of Writ of Mandamus and consequently direct the 1st respondent to restore approval to the petitioner institution for 30 seats in MCA programme on and from the academic year 2002-2003 and pass such other order or orders as deemed fit and proper.
